Account Management

Administrators use Account Management to configure company level settings, manage users, and establish the controls that guide how employees and contractors interact with Tangibly. This section explains how to update your company profile, set permissions, define acknowledgment rules, and connect key systems. These settings create the foundation for strong governance and help your organization stay aligned with reasonable measures.

Getting Started with Company Settings

When onboarding, begin by updating your organization profile and global settings. These configurations determine how your team uses Tangibly, how assets are managed, and how acknowledgments flow through the system. Administrators can access the dashboard, oversee employee and contractor lists, and set rules for training, notifications, and asset governance.

This is the central space for ensuring your company’s structure, workflows, and permissions reflect how your team manages intellectual property.

Core Admin Controls

Administrators manage several company level configurations that determine how Tangibly operates across the organization. These controls help ensure that policies, assets, and notifications are aligned with your internal processes.

Update Permissions

Set global permissions that define which users can upload files into assets, assign asset types, and manage agreement records. These rules ensure assets are created and governed consistently.

Configure Recipients for Periodic Emails

Designate IT managers and IP managers to receive automated email summaries. These summaries help teams understand access activity, shared assets, and acknowledgment workflows.

Select Language

Choose the default platform language for your organization. Available options include English, Chinese, and Japanese.

Customize Acknowledgment Text

This text appears when users access an asset for the first time. Contributors and recipients must sign the acknowledgment before viewing the asset.

You may customize the language to reflect your company’s confidentiality requirements.

Connect to SharePoint

Available for upgraded packages. Connect Tangibly to SharePoint to automate asset ingestion and improve compliance documentation across shared drives.

Organization Profile Setup

Your organization profile contains basic information about your company and how you plan to use Tangibly. This includes your company name, default settings, agreement types, and training requirements. Administrators should review these fields during onboarding to ensure they match internal policies and governance structures.

Manage Training Requirements

Administrators can assign required training videos for employees and contractors. Training modules help reinforce best practices for handling trade secrets and maintaining compliance across teams.

User Management

Admins can add employees and contractors, update their roles, assign agreements, and track onboarding completeness. This ensures every user has the correct access and responsibilities within the platform.
